Build Fitness Studio in Khayaban-e-Sehar turned one on 29th August, 2026, and COZY was the only clothing vendor at the anniversary, which is a fair snapshot of what fitness events in Karachi have started to look like: a working studio with classes running downstairs and a small floor of brands upstairs. Zumba, pilates and hip hop sessions carried on through the evening while COZY ran a chit-pick challenge at its table, and the night closed with light rain and a live hip hop performance on the roof.
A year of Build, on Khayaban-e-Sehar
Build Fitness Studio marked its first anniversary at its Khayaban-e-Sehar location, and COZY was the only clothing vendor invited. The studio ran the evening the way it runs a normal week, with classes going ahead and the anniversary happening around them. Zumba, pilates and hip hop dance sessions carried on downstairs while the upstairs turned into something closer to a small market. People came off the floor mid-session, walked up, and browsed in whatever they had trained in. That is a different kind of conversation than a shop floor produces.
The chit bowl, the burpees, and the questions
COZY ran an activity at the table. A bowl of folded chits, one pick each. Some chits were physical: burpees, squats, push ups, counted out on the spot. Others were questions about wellness in general, the kind most people half know the answer to. Anyone who cleared their chit won a prize at the table. It worked better than expected, mostly because a gym crowd will take a squat challenge from a stranger without hesitating. It also gave the team a reason to talk to people who had walked past the table twice already without stopping.
What was on the table
The restock landed in time for the event. Both the Deadlift Till I Drop Oversized T-Shirt and the In My Pilates Era Oversized T-Shirt were back, in COZY Cotton, cut and finished at COZY's own facility in Karachi. Alongside them sat pieces from the Core Collection and the Winter Collection, including the COZY Cropped Jacket in Sponge fabric, which is a piece that reads differently in the hand than it does on a screen. Restocking a sold-out tee is straightforward when the fabric and the machines are in the same building. Both tees went back into production and came off the line in time to sit on the table at Build, which is not a timeline that works when a run has to be placed with an outside unit and waited on.
Why COZY shows up to fitness events in Karachi
Fitness events in Karachi put COZY in front of the exact person the brand makes clothes for, in the exact setting those clothes get worn. Long-time customers arrived already wearing COZY and told the team which pieces had held up through a year of washing and which they wanted back in stock. New customers touched the fabric first and asked about it second, which is the order that matters. COZY makes everything in house in Karachi, so a comment made across a table on a Saturday night reaches the people who can act on it without passing through anyone else. Very little of that happens over a product photo.
Rain on the roof
The evening finished upstairs. Light rain came through near the end, which in Karachi counts as an event of its own, and the Build team performed a live hip hop routine on the roof to close the night. It was a good ending for a studio marking its first year, and a good night for COZY to be the only clothing brand in the room.
